Record a passing thought, a project update or a conversation. The iPhone app supports recording controls, playback and an upload queue. The web app records with your browser’s microphone permission and imports supported audio files. Recording in a browser depends on the browser staying active; use the native app for the iPhone experience.
Full transcription, with useful notes beside it
Saynote transcribes audio and keeps the resulting full text available. It then organizes the recording into a title, summary, decisions, to-dos and a mind map. You can edit and organize the result in your workspace instead of accepting an AI summary as the final word.
Audio quality, background noise, overlapping speech and names can affect accuracy. Listen back when a detail matters. You can rename speakers and correct your saved transcript.
Make your notes easier to find
Add recordings to projects and use tags and text search to find them later. Ask questions across the notes in a project or about one recording. Answers include source quotes so you can check the context.
Start faster on a supported iPhone
The iPhone app includes an Action button setup guide and a recording Shortcut. You choose the shortcut in Apple’s settings. Saynote cannot silently remap the phone’s controls, and support depends on your iPhone model and system settings.
Export what you need
Export a recording’s notes or transcript as Markdown or JSON, or download its audio. Files you import are processed inside your account. The web workspace and iPhone app use the same saved records when you sign in to the same account.
A note about calls and recorders
Saynote does not capture both sides of an iPhone call. Direct pairing with third-party Bluetooth recorders is not available in this release. You can import an audio file you are allowed to use. No separate recording hardware is required for the app’s microphone recording.
